I just found an amazing blog called The Jealous Curator. She has a great eye for contemporary art and frequently posts new findings. I love her about section: There is one moment, in the first few seconds, when you look at a piece of art and know that you love it. It’s the moment when, if you’re an artist yourself, you look at it and feel a rush of uplifting inspiration… and total soul crushing jealousy all at the same time. It’s when you walk away thinking, “Damn, I wish I thought of that.”
So true, don't you think? Here is an artist profiled on The Jealous Curator that I am particularly jealous of: Lee Price

I absolutely know what she's talking about...when you see a work of art that is so amazing and you admire it but also wish you could have thought of doing it yourself..and even just want to sit there and copy it for the pure experience of it.
